Andbank announces the opening of the application period for the Andbank Trainee Program 2018 for students

Andbank is once again offering students the chance to take part in paid internships in the banking sector.

The deadlines for sending in applications are 6 April for summer placements and 30 April for the long-term trainee program.

Escaldes-Engordany, 9 March 2018. For the fourth year running, Andbank is inviting applications for paid work experience placements from students interested in a career in the banking sector.
More than 100 students have benefited from the first three years of the work experience placements on the Andbank Trainee Program. For the fourth year running, Andbank is making a commitment to young talent, offering the chance to take part in a programme that will help students to integrate into a team of professionals in different departments in the bank’s central offices and branches and even its overseas subsidiaries, with the aim of giving them an insight into the everyday operations of the banking world and gaining valuable experience in different projects in the financial sector.

Thanks to these internships, the young candidates gain practical experience that complements their academic training and gives them a more well-rounded CV when it comes to joining the labour market. The programme is also intended to support them with career guidance, training and preparation for their subsequent professional life.
Students aged between 18 and 25 have the option of joining the Andbank Trainee Program either for summer work experience placements in July and August or for long-term internships lasting between six and twelve months. In both cases, there is the choice of working either at the head office in Andorra (in which case the applicant must have Andorran nationality or be a resident of the Principality) or at any of Andbank’s foreign subsidiaries.
The main requirements for applicants are as follows:
• The applicant should be in the second year of higher education (currently enrolled).
• Preference will be given to students on the following degree courses: Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Law or Psychology.
• Students should be aged between 18 and 25.
• Applicants should be Andorran nationals or official residents of Andorra (this is an essential requirement for the summer work placements).
• Preference will be given to students who can speak English.
• Applicants should be responsible, versatile self-starters who are comfortable working in a team environment.
• Participation is limited to two consecutive years.
