He then presented the schedule for the competitions this summer, a packed one in terms of the quantity and quality of the competitions.<\/p>\n<p>The first competition will be the World Championships in Budapest, due to take place from 16 to 23 June. The swimmers will be Bernat and Tom\u00e0s Lomero, who will race in the 50m and 50m butterfly and 100m and 100m freestyle categories, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The Mediterranean Games in Oran will follow from 27 June to 7 July and involve four swimmers: Tom\u00e0s Lomero, who will take part in the 50m and 100m butterfly and 50m and 100m freestyle categories, with Patrick Pelegrina in the 50m and 100m breaststroke races, Nadia Tud\u00f3 in the 100m and 200m breaststroke and 50m freestyle, and M\u00f2nica Ram\u00edrez in the 50m backstroke and 50m freestyle.<\/p>\n<p>The European Young Olympic Festival will then take place in Banska Bistrika and the European Championships will be held in Rome. In these two competitions, we will have to await the scores of the swimmers to choose the two best or each.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Maltrana presented the projects that the FAN intends to carry out in the short term, including the work plan, which will seek to increase the number of hours and training sessions, the training sites, and the achievements envisaged in the plan. He also introduced the proposal for a learning plan to enable all the boys and girls in the country to enjoy the water and give them the chance to develop their talent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s important for us to make a commitment to schools and clubs so that the plan can be completed in the best possible way,\u201d remarked Maltrana. He also commented that \u201cthe plan that we\u2019re preparing is designed to enable more swimmers to emerge and expand our youth teams\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>On behalf of <strong>Andbank<\/strong>, <strong>Josep Maria Cabanes<\/strong> addressed a few words to the swimmers, telling them that \u201cit makes us proud that a country like Andorra can take so many swimmers to competitions of this calibre\u201d. Cabanes also congratulated the Federation for \u201cthe work it\u2019s carrying out with the swimmers, who are achieving great goals based on hard work and perseverance\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joan Clotet<\/strong>, the President of the <strong>FAN<\/strong>, also congratulated the swimmers; \u201cthe whole team and the board are doing great work and making an effort to prepare for these international competitions\u201d.
