Andbank and the Andorran Football Federation (FAF) have signed a four-year
\nsponsorship agreement with the aim of supporting Andorran football as its main
\nsponsor and, in particular, the Senior Women\u2019s National Team. The agreement
\nis based on values shared by both institutions: effort, excellence, teamwork and
\nthe development of young talent.<\/p>\n
The agreement was presented in the presence of Maria Su\u00e1rez, Andbank\u2019s
\nDirector of Domestic Banking, and F\u00e8lix \u00c1lvarez, President of the Andorran
\nFootball Federation. Alfonso Mart\u00edn, Vice-President of the FAF, and Marc
\nRodr\u00edguez, a member of the FAF Board, also attended the presentation.
\nThis strategic agreement reflects a shared commitment to combining efforts,
\nexpertise and dedication in order to contribute actively to the development of
\nAndorran football. Andbank and the FAF share the same understanding of
\nprogress, based on effort, development, teamwork and equal opportunities. In
\nthis context, the partnership places particular emphasis on women\u2019s football
\nand its significant growth in recent years as a key pillar for building a stronger,
\nmore inclusive sporting future with a positive social impact, aligning the bank\u2019s
\nvalues with those of football as a tool for personal and collective development.<\/p>\n
The FAF is the governing body responsible for regulating and promoting football
\nin the Principality. Football has more registered federation members than any
\nother sport in the country, with approximately 3,488 licences recorded in the
\nmost recent sporting season, 425 of which are in the women\u2019s category. These
\nfigures represent a significant share of the country\u2019s more than 9,000 registered
\nsports licences, with football being the leading team sport.
\nFemale participation in football has continued to grow, with a percentage
\nincrease in women\u2019s licences, although they still represent a fraction of the
\noverall total. In terms of competitions, the FAF oversees several categories,
\nfrom grassroots football to senior divisions and the national teams that compete
\nin the international UEFA and FIFA calendars.<\/p>\n
Maria Su\u00e1rez, Andbank\u2019s Director of Domestic Banking, stated: \u201cThis

\nthat encourage participation and increase the visibility of football at every level
