The official presentation of the return of the Andorran Ice Gladiators
\nChampionship to the Circuit Andorra \u2013 Pas de la Casa was held this morning at
\nAndbank\u2019s headquarters. This will be the competition\u2019s tenth edition.<\/p>\n
The press conference was attended by Maria Su\u00e1rez, Andbank\u2019s Director of
\nDomestic Banking; Alex Bercianos, Director of the Circuit Andorra \u2013 Pas de la
\nCasa; and Nat\u00e0lia Gallego, President of the Andorran Motorcycling Federation.
\nFollowing the most recent edition, which formed part of the Andbank GSeries in
\n2024, this year the Ice Gladiators will be organised separately from the GSeries
\nby the Andorran Motorcycling Federation (FMA) and Moto Club les Valls, with
\nAndbank, Multissegur Assegurances and Rilei Pneum\u00e0tics as the main
\nsponsors.<\/p>\n
In 2026, the competition will take place over two rounds, on the mornings of
\nSaturday 7 February and Sunday 22 February, with Sunday 15 March reserved
\nas an alternative date in the event of weather-related difficulties affecting either
\nround. Each round will include a practice session, a qualifying session and two
\nChampionship-scoring races.<\/p>\n
Leading riders are expected to take part, including brothers Miquel and Marc
\nFont (winner in 2023), brothers Xavi and Cristian Espa\u00f1a (winner in 2021), and
\nFrench resident Maxime Emery (winner in 2022 and 2024). Andorran rider Sara
\nMi\u00f1o, a regular competitor in the Andorran Enducross Championship, will also
\nparticipate.<\/p>\n
The riders present who shared their views on taking part in the 2026 Ice
\nGladiators were Miquel Font, Marc Font and Maxime Emery. They all expressed
\ntheir enthusiasm about returning to give their best on the ice.
\nAlex Bercianos said that \u201calthough weather conditions are becoming
\nincreasingly difficult, it has been possible to fit the Ice Gladiators into the
\ncircuit\u2019s calendar.\u201d<\/p>\n
Maria Su\u00e1rez of Andbank added that \u201cthe return of the Ice Gladiators is an
\nexample of resilience and collective commitment, and we are especially
\ndelighted to see this emblematic event once again fill the circuit with energy,
