The Andorran Swimming Federation and Andbank announced this morning the
\nrenewal of a sponsorship partnership that has linked them for almost a decade. The
\ntwo parties signed an agreement that Maria Su\u00e1rez, Andbank\u2019s Director of Domestic
\nBanking, described as \u201cimportant to us because it allows us to continue supporting a
\nfederation we have worked alongside for many years\u201d. FAN president Joan Clotet
\nthanked Andbank for \u201cthe support you have given us from the very first day;
\nAndbank has become a key part of the growth of swimming in the country and of our
\nability to keep moving forward with the FAN\u2019s future challenges\u201d.<\/p>\n
Swimming technical director Alfonso Maltrana also looked ahead by announcing the
\nrelaunch of the Andbank Open, which will take place on 1 May 2026. \u201cIt is the most
\nimportant event we have in the country and, to coincide with this renewal, we
\nwanted to give it fresh momentum.\u201d This year\u2019s sixth edition of the Andbank Open
\nwill therefore feature more than 20 Andorran and international clubs, with athletes
\nfrom the neighbouring countries to the south and north, strengthening links with the
\nfederations in both territories.<\/p>\n
Maltrana also highlighted the schedule for 2026. In the development categories, the
\naim is to place as many under-15 swimmers as possible in the top ten and to
\nincrease Andorran participation in the Spanish under-18 championships.
\nInternationally, the FAN will continue its preparations for Monaco 2027 while also
\ncompeting in the Comen Cup, the European Junior Championships and the
\nEuropean Senior Championships, where it hopes to qualify between two and four
\nswimmers who can continue on the path towards the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic
\nGames.<\/p>\n

\nevent. She explained that Andorra will again take part in the European Children\u2019s
\nChampionships, held in Luxembourg on 2 and 3 June, and the European Junior
\nChampionships, held in Munich from 30 June to 2 July. The Andorran Routine
\nChampionships will also take place at Serradells on 16 and 17 May, where master
\nswimmers are expected to join the field, with a target of ten participants. \u201cWe are
\npleased to continue increasing Andorran participation in international competitions.
\nWe are still growing after the momentum created by the JPE in the country, and we
\nsee a promising future,\u201d Meca said. The 5th Santa Eul\u00e0lia Trophy will also be held in
