Andbank holds the 13th international convention of private banks

More than 180 professionals from 29 countries met in Andbank to analyse the market situation. The deputy chairman of the Andbank Group, Oriol Ribas, opened the convention with a presentation on the history of the Group, followed by Presentations by Ricard Tubau, CEO of the Group and Àlex Fusté, Chief Economist at Andbank.

The attendees, who are participating in the conference from 2 to 4 February, come from the 12 jurisdictions in which Andbank currently has a presence: Andorra, Bahamas, Brazil, Spain, Israel, Luxembourg, Miami, Mexico, Monaco, Panama, Switzerland and Uruguay.

The main aim of this conference is to share the Corporate culture and philosophy of the bank, to present the corporate support model and some product innovations. Furthermore, the working sessions will discuss the changes and challenges that the private banking industry, in particular, and the financial world, in general, are experiencing, the changes and adaptations to the new rules and possible scenarios, as well as current issues of great importance for the private banking industry.

The working meetings and conferences have a dual component, since they allow the attendees to be in direct contact with the parent company, as well as offering them more training. During the days that the conference lasts the participants combine strategic working sessions with Andbank executives with corporate relations sessions with the Andorran team.

This year the event is sponsored by three important and internationally renowned managers who will present their products, investment ideas and opportunities in different markets worldwide: Morgan Stanley, Columbia Treadneedle and Carmignac.

Andbank’s international project is one of the bank’s growth lines. Andbank, the country’s private banking institution, annually reinforces this team with the recruitment of professional experts in all banking fields. The Andbank Group team currently has more than 1,000 people, of whom about 400 work from Andorra.
