Javier Planelles joined Cecabank in 2004. Throughout his career there he held various positions of responsibility in different departments until his appointment as Director of Operations in 2013, a position he held until 2016.

From that year onwards, he took on the position of Corporate Director of the Operational Services Department, leading corporate operations in business acquisition and financial activities and supporting business integration and digital transformation projects, regulatory adaptation and the expansion of the business in both Spain and Portugal.
