Andbank supports International Breast Cancer Awareness Day

Andbank collaborates with the FERO Foundation by selling charity bracelets to raise money to support the cancer research carried out by the foundation.

In collaboration with the FERO Foundation, Andbank joins the international breast cancer awareness day campaign held on 19 October, to highlight society’s ongoing commitment to the fight against breast cancer.
The main objective of the day is to ensure that women are aware that a timely diagnosis significantly raises their chances of eradicating the disease.
Andbank has joined the campaign by selling charity bracelets that will help to fund the cancer research activities carried out by the FERO Foundation. All money collected from the sales will go directly to the foundation.
The FERO Foundation is a private foundation dedicated to cancer research, which has been able to set up various scientific research laboratories thanks to private donations. The entity was founded by Doctor Josep Baselga, professor of medicine at the Autonomous University and president of the scientific committee of the Vhio Foundation (Vall d’Hebrón Institute of Oncology). One of the foundation’s main achievements has been the creation of the Breast Cancer Centre at the Vall d’Hebrón hospital, which is unique in this field of specialisation in Spain.
To commemorate the day, many Andbank collaborators showed their support for the campaign by appearing in a photo taken at the entity’s headquarters with the symbol of the internationally recognised day.
