What is CRS?

The Principality of Andorra has passed Law 19/2016, of the 30 of November, of the automatic exchange of information in tax matters, which includes the principles established by the OECD for the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) in connection with the automatic exchange of certain tax information between competent authorities. What does it consist of?

The financial entities must report to their respective competent authorities certain personal and tax information relating to the accounts of clients who are not resident in the Principality of Andorra.

What documentation do I have to supply?

The financial entities must have a complete, up-to-date identification of the ownership of the account: full name (personal or company name), complete address with country, place and date of birth or of incorporation, tax residency and identification number.
