Andorra la Vella, 15 February 2021.

Andbank has made a donation to the Andorran Red Cross to equip its volunteers, numbering around 550, with Covid-19 protective masks.

Andbank is an institution that has always sought to help society. Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, the organisation has made several actions and donations to help alleviate the effects of the crisis. This year, as the difficult situation persists and there are still moments of uncertainty, it continues to support those who provide assistance to those in need. For this reason, the organisation wanted to support the Andorran Red Cross, one of the entities that has been filling the gap at all times.

These are fabric masks that comply with UNE0065 certifications: 2020 and the European standard CWA 17553. They are water-repellent and minimise particle transfer through filtration (ensuring protection against aerosols and liquids), while retaining high breathability. They are reusable and washable up to 80 times.

Many volunteers have already picked them up at the organisation’s headquarters and are already using them in the course of their humanitarian work.

They are grey and have the Andbank logo on one side and the Andorran Red Cross logo and the word “Voluntariado” (Volunteers) on the other.
