Myandbank sponsors the Shup Padel Tennis Circuit

Escaldes-Engordany, 24 January 2023.

Myandbank and the Shup Padel Tennis Circuit are teaming up for five events in the competition, created last year in La Seu d’Urgell and the Principality. The presentation of the circuit took place today in Andbank’s Manel Cerqueda Hall. It will take in a total of 8 venues in the Principality and the capital of Alt Urgell, as explained by its director, Anna Aguareles, together with Marta Bravo, the head of Myandbank.

“We’re really excited about growing towards Andorra and the fact that five events can be held here”, declared Aguareles, who pointed out that all the events have different themes. The first one, due to be held on 11 February, will have its sights set on Valentine’s Day, but “not in the romantic sense of the word, but rather in the more sexual sense, as we have a partnership with the Diva sex shop”, she added.

Moreover, one of the main new features this year is that “registrations can be paid via Bizum, thanks to the cooperation provided by MyAndbank”, stated Bravo. In a similar vein, Aguareles explained that “this is a really important leap for us, because it makes it much easier for the players, some of whom come from Lleida, to register and make their payments”.

Target: 1,300 players

A total of one thousand players took part in the different competitions during the first Shup Circuit. This year, the organisation hopes the figure will reach 1,300. “It’s a challenge that we’ve set ourselves and one we think we can achieve”, said Aguareles.

In addition, the championship will include events for children such as Kids and Back to School and others with a fully festive atmosphere like Moji Padel, set to be reminiscent of a party in Ibiza, and 24 Hours, which will have entertainment and neon lights throughout the day while the padel playing goes on at the same time.

The circuit will thus be as follows: Love in the Aire (11 February, La Seu d’Urgell), Kids (18 March, La Seu d’Urgell), Beer Padel (29 April, La Massana Tennis & Padel Club), Candy (20/21 March, Caldea), 24 Hours (17/18 June, La Seu d’Urgell), Moji Padel (8 July, La Massana Tenis & Padel Club), Back to School (9 September, Caldea) and Teams (23/24 September, Princiesport).
